Rebuilt Audi B5 differential extension (snout). It is common for fluid to leak and the snout bearing is damaged due to low fluid. A howling noise dependent on road speed will be produced. This is a rebuilt unit with new bearings and seals ready to install. For added strength the shaft can be cryo treated which helps with plastic deformation some people have experienced.
